We were excited to renew our 5 Bubbles for 2024, having previously achieved the fantastic rating in 2021, and meeting the same expectations in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

The word ‘Spa’ comes from a Latin phrase translating to ‘Health through water’, and Cheltenham is a historical spa town. The special waters were discovered in 1716, with the water being rich in minerals, it was said to be beneficial to one’s health. These waters also merited a visit from King George III in 1788, during which time Ellenborough Park (then a residential property known as Southam House) notably hosted the King.
