Random Act of Kindness

Celebrating the ‘Random Acts of Kindness Week’, 14th – 20th February the team at Ellenborough decided to do something unusual.

Staff got together to surprise local residents in the village of Southam with spring bouquet’s and home baked scones. The cheerful surprise was most welcomed by unsuspecting neighbours, fifty randomly selected houses received a spring gift. The team really enjoyed coming together in a socially distanced setting after not seeing each other for months.

The hotel has received lots of phone calls and emails of thanks. Kevin, Hotel Hall Porter said ‘I loved it, seeing the surprises and happy faces was really overwhelming’.

Hotel Director of Sales Joanne Reeves spoke live on BBC Gloucestershire with Dominic Cotter later that day. This suprise interview was most welcomed and the team were very touched the news of the days events had reached so far.
